Map the structure of a remote Web siteCapable of reading HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shockwave Flash, Custo allows you to quickly map the structure of a remote Web site. You can then browse files organized into virtual folders, explore, download, and open selected files. New in Custo 3Custo 3 has a brand new look and feel. It uses a familiar Explorer style interface for file browsing. The content is organized into virtual folders. The files in the Site Tree folder are ordered into a tree structure. The Site Listing virtual folder contains all the site files combined into a single view. The Type Filter enables you to just view files of interest. You can select from the following general file types: “Text”, “Image”, “Audio”, “Video”, and “Other”. The new Site Map Wizard lets you set up a site map in a few simple steps. Custo 3 introduced support for multi-host Web sites. To identify hosts that are part of the Web site, a regular expression (a pattern that describes a set of names) is used on the host name part of retrieved URLs. The Regular Expression Generator enables you to generate the pattern without knowing anything about regular expressions. The Crawling Options screen contains several new options to customize the crawler's behavior. The new crawling options are: “Enable cookie support” (experimental), “Collect referrer data”, “Limit link depth”, and “Brute-force scripts scan” (experimental). The program allows you to download any selection of files. The Download dialog box has a new look and added functionality. Now you can pause and resume downloads. The improved Bandwidth Control enables you to set global download and upload bandwidth usage limits. UpgradesCusto has a one time registration fee. All upgrades will be free to registered users. All registered users of earlier versions of Custo are eligible for a free upgrade. Custo v3.0 requires a new registration key: request new key. The request must include your previous key. |
